Made from 100% flour sack cotton, June & December’s tea towels are processed, printed and packaged in small batches right here in the USA. Each towel is individually screen-printed using specialty, eco-friendly inks to permanently dye the cotton, while maintaining a “soft-hand” feel, and the natural absorbency of the flour sack.
They are pre-shrunk, machine washable, and bleach safe (except for natural fabric) as noted on tag. Regular use is encouraged as the cotton will continue to soften and become more absorbent with each wash.
Each piece is carefully folded, inspected and packaged by hand in their Michigan Design Studio where artist, Katie Forte illustrates and creates the designs.
